It’s easy to keep frozen shrimp in your freezer and cook them up when the craving strikes. These shrimp are already peeled and deveined for you, so no need for any additional inconvenient prep work. These succulent shrimp are perfect for all your recipe needs, and you can instantly transport yourself to the Italian coast or a Mexican beach with our tried and true shrimp recipes.
INGREDIENTS: Shrimp, Water, and the Salt of the Sea

METHOD: Farm raised in the Bay of Bengal, the largest single bay in the world, under the strictest quality standards. Individually flash frozen at -160°F within hours of harvest, locking in peak freshness, texture, and flavor (learn more about flash freezing)
CULINARY NOTE: When you sauté a truly chemical-free shrimp, you are able to achieve a beautiful golden-brown caramelization from the natural sugar present in the shrimp. This is impossible with shrimp that have been treated with chemicals and added water, as they will release this water during cooking, causing them to steam instead of sauté.
We recommend thawing shrimp under refrigeration. Place the bag of frozen Naked Shrimp in a bowl or container to catch any potential leaks during thawing, and then put it in the refrigerator. You may also remove frozen shrimp from bag and place in a sealable container or bag. Thaw in refrigerator overnight, or for 12-24 hours. After 12 hours, you may drain the bag of any liquid and allow to finish thawing.
For quicker thawing, place shrimp in a colander under cold running water for 5-8 minutes or until fully thawed. Do NOT thaw with hot or warm water. Drain, and continue preparation.
Do not refreeze. Thawed shrimp can be stored under refrigeration for two days. Once thawed, pat dry of any excess moisture before preparation.
